Come enjoy the magic of a growing garden through stories, songs, garden work, and fun activities!
All ages welcome (please accompany any gardeners under 5)

July 9^th: Chebeague Island School Garden: Oh, Say Can You Seed?

With the Cat in the Hat turned garden instructor, we will learn how seeds grow, plant some of our own, and finish off with a fun game.

July 16^th: CIS Garden: The Snail’s Spell

What does the garden look like from a snail’s point of view? We’ll find out, then go on a bug hunt! Our food will become art when we make a “mini garden” snack.

July 23^rd: Second Wind Farm: Farm Camp Week!

We’ll all be pitching in with Chuck and learning a lot! See Rec Center brochure for schedule.

July 30^th: CIS Garden: Worldly Plants

You think plants don’t travel? Think again! We’ll learn about where the plants in our garden first grew, and what gardens look like in other cultures. What would your dream garden look like?
